‘Wait, is this fucking play about us?’

Liminal Stranding is a multimedia theatre performance by Mingxiang Wang. It explores the impacts of the ‘hnh’ chemsex scene in the modern-day queer community. By staging the toilet as a liminal space, the solo performance takes a glance through an international student’s perspective to review the interplay between addiction, love, social class, and the trauma of the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK.
